      <description>October 2–30, 2009&lt;br/&gt;Opening Friday, October 2nd at WPA&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;The next installment in the Coup d'Espace series: The Miraculous Artist. A performance and video installation by WPA member artist Carolina Mayorga&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;WPA Headquarters&lt;br/&gt;2023 Massachusetts Ave, NW&lt;br/&gt;Washington, DC&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;The Miraculous Artist is an interactive installation comprising video, performance, live music, printed material, and a non-denominational confessional. On opening night, audience members will have the opportunity to consult with and receive free advice from The Miraculous Artist. For a small fee, visitors can purchase a variety of laminated cards to that proffer solutions to individual problems.       <description>Mark your calendars! &lt;br/&gt;We are having a summer studio pARTy!&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;August is a sweltering month in Washington, DC... so what could be more appealing than an evening of art, dipping yourself into our mini pool and enjoying food and music as the sun goes down? &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Our Summer Open Studio Party will be held &lt;br/&gt;Saturday, August 8 from 6pm to ?&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Twice a year we open our studio doors to let folks visit our working space, look at our works in progress and have some wine and cheese....but this summer we are making it into a summer pARTy bash!
